Dianjiang Kids International is a non-profit organization and therefore, is solely funded by donations and fundraisers from our friends and family.
Throughout the year, Dianjiang Kids International holds special fundraisers to increase the yearly operating budget and for special projects.
We rely on the supporters, friends and family members of Dianjiang Kids International to become involved and help with the fundraisers throughout the year. Our Journey to Baby "M"
Baby "M" first entered our lives in October 2009, we saw her beautiful, serious expression that appeared in her referral photo. We accepted her referral knowing that she had special needs. As all adoptive families know, adoption involves a leap of faith, love and trust in ones instincts, our adoption of baby "M" involved all of the above mentioned! We were told that baby "M" was in a special room in the orphanage and that she was receiving heartfelt and loving care. We later learned that she was in Gracie's Room in the Xinxiang Orphanage. Baby "M" has been home with us for over three months, her development and growth have been astounding! Most of all, she has attached quite well and is very loving and trusting with us, she has attached so well the doctors and therapists are amazed that we have been a family for such a short time. We all have no doubt that the love, caring and extra attention our sweet daughter received in Gracie's room is directly related to her amazing progress and attachment. We are so thankful for the donations and support that provided our daughter with loving care, it made such a difference in her life and for that we will be forever grateful.
