Moya Smith, Executive Director of Dianjiang Kids International
Her younger daughter was adopted from Dianjiang in 2004. Moya visited the orphanage at that time to meet her daughter for the first time. She was struck by the many children who did not meet their forever families that day. Moya became interested in childhood trauma and its effects as she continued to raise her four children. When the chance came to work with Dianjiang Social Welfare Institute to help those children left behind, Moya was thrilled at the opportunity. She is currently completing her Master of Social Work and is a Certified Beyond Consequences Instructor. She lives in Colorado with her husband and four children. Contact Moya.
Michelle Duffy, PhD, Assistant Executive Director
Michelle and her family live in the Twin Cities in Minnesota . Michelle and Jason are the proud parents of Catherine Zhi and are waiting for their second daughter Teagan Jia. Catherine was adopted in June 2004(Dianjiang) and Teagan (Pingdingshan) will hopefully be part of the family by June 2010. Michelle is a Professor of Organizational Behavior at the University of Minnesota whose research focuses on employee well-being and health, relationships at work, and workplace antisocial behavior . Krista Dolan, Director Gracie's Room
Vice President of a small engineering firm, Krista Dolan lives in Atlantic Canada with her husband of 14 years and their 4 children, Abigail 12, Isabelle 10, Hanlin 6 and Lily 5. They adopted Lily in 2005 from Dianjiang at 1 year old and Hanlin from Tianjin in 2008 at 4.5 years old. Krista has been active with the Adoption community in her area and has been the Director of Gracies Room since October 2008. She has a special place in her heart for China's orphaned children. Lionel Mew, Ph.D., Director of Strategic Planning
Dr. Mew has two special needs children adopted from China, Luke (Yangzhou, 2002) and Kathryn (Dianjiang, 2004). He holds a doctorate in Information and Decision Systems and an MS in Information Systems from George Washington University, and currently teaches, writes and conducts IT research. He is a US Naval Academy graduate and retired US Coast Guard Flight Officer, and lives in Virginia with his wife Anne and the children. Contact Lionel.
Kelly Feichtinger, Director of Foster Care
Kelly is a first grade teacher and child advocate who has been working with young children since 1991. Helping young children grow and develop has been a lifelong passion for Kelly. Her interest in helping China's children began while adopting her daughter from China in 2004. Seeing the difficulties faced by the children at her daughter's orphanage sparked her to join with other parents who were just as moved by what they witnessed. Marla-Dee Boyle, Director of Communications
Marla currently lives in Pennsylvania with her husband and three children. Marla and her husband Ralph adopted their daughter from Dianjiang in November 2005. Marla holds a bachelors degree. Her main concentration was psychology, sociology and social work. She is currently pursuing her other passion as a photographer. She became passionate about helping the children in China after her journey with her daughter. It is her hope that every child finds their forever family. Contact Marla-Dee.

Emma Kennedy: XinXiang Coordinator
Emma and her husband Tim adopted their daughter Ciara from Dianjiang in 2003 and their son Sam from Xinxiang in 2005. Emma graduated college in Dublin Ireland and now lives in the US. She is a real estate broker. Her passion is adoption and adoptive families. She has served on several committees for Martha's Vineyard Community Services. She co-facilitates all families touched by adoption of Martha's Vineyard and a waiting parents group with Martha's Vineyard Community Services.
